Nail Bed

Matt made a nail bed to demonstrate pressure in his High School Physics class.

(and also to demonstrate what an awesome teacher he is!)

This was the test run in our backyard.

Bed of Nails

 In Matt's Physics class he wanted to build a bed of nails to demonstrate pressure. He has spent the past two weekends putting it together. Tonight he put it through a test run. He tried it first, then gave each of the kids a turn.  (It took a little cajoling) but each of the girls tried it.

 Adam stood on the inside of the sliding door with it pushed firmly shut. He refused even to come outside and wanted nothing to do with Matt's offer to try it. Wish i had gotten a picture. : )

Halloween fun

These pictures ended up in almost reverse order. I'm learning a new program and couldn't figure how to switch them. It's a good thing it is more convenient"! Lol. Anyway. We carved pumpkins two days before Halloween. We love this tradition and it is especially fun as our kids get older. 

Adam only wanted an "A" on his. No face. Just an "A".

Savannah did hers mostly by herself this year! She gets braces tomorrow!

Isabelle. We were glad she felt well enough to participate. She has been sick and missed almost a week of school.

Nauvoo

During our move from North Carolina to Utah we had the pleasure of spending a day in Nauvoo.

It was amazing to see the temple rebuilt and all of the other restorations that have been done there.

The spirit was so strong. I only wish we had had more time to spend.

We were so blessed to have the company of Matt's Mom and Brother on our cross country journey.

Savannah's Triathlon

On April 8, 2012 Savannah ran her first Triathlon with her dad. It was a chilly spring morning.

 Uncle Aaron and Aunt Lara joined them for this mini sprint Triathlon

causing my cold lense to fog! lol.
