I know i havn't BLOGed in a while. I'm SUPER busy with school and kids and babies and life. I wanted to post a few things about Adam... Mostly so I can write them in his baby book when i get around to it!
At his 6 mo checkup he weighed almost 18 lbs. that put him in the 65 percent for weight, but he jumped to the 90th percent in height! No wonder he likes to eat so much. I still have yet to have him refuse a food i've offered. He eats 3 meals a day and drinks 6 bottles (at least) and finally has slept 8 hours for two nights in a row! hurray! He is still working on tooth number 8! (yes that is EIGHT! at almost 7 months) a 1 year old boy in our ward just cut his fourth.
He started "steam rolling" accross the living room just after Christmas. for a while he could only roll one direction, so he'd run into something and get stuck. Which would make him mad. He now sits so well that he can scoot and turn in any direction without falling. He prefers to move when nobody is watching him, but i suspect that he can get into a sitting position by himself, but i've not seen it yet. He is starting to get up on hands and knees occasionally. When i was trying to show him how to do this at christmas he suddenly straitened his legs so he was on his hands and toes, balanced there for a few seconds before face planting. He was quite put out with me. I would have to say his favorite toy is probably power cords. YIKES! Time to baby proof. : ) It is fun to watch him discover new things. He will get something that he has never seen before and look at it and turn it and taste it and move it until he has it completely figured out. You can almost see the wheels turning in his little brain.
He continues to be a sweet addition to our little family.
Love to all
